Stainless steel fiber poplin fabric is made with 28% stainless steel fiber, 36% polyester and 36% cotton blended. So it has conductive / shielding performance as well as actual textile characteristics. With a much cheaper price than silver fabrics and, however, more durable, this fabric is usually used for protection against high frequency electromagnetic radiation, with good screening attenuation even at high frequencies, and can also be grounded for shielding low frequency electric fields.
